Born on the island of Jamaica, DJ Story has been emerging within the electronic music scene since 1998 when he started spinning at indoor / outdoor parties in New Mexico, San Francisco, Black Rock City and Hawaii.

DJ Story has written, recorded and remixed songs for Sasha Rose, The Human Revolution, Buddha Studios, Karmafree Productions, DJ Profeta, Sirus B Posse, Luna Moth, Onyay Pheori, Alicia Lyons, Love (Tracy Erchul), Malcolm Dorje, Sam David & Amber Leiv, Nina Ranjita, Terrance Solchakra, Anecha, Jonathan Arthur and many others. Somewhere out in the deserts of Reno (Burning Man 2002), DJ Story and Dr. Do Right handed out 1,000 free CDs of their debut album, Stages of Life featuring many guest musicians recorded on Kauai.

His latest album, Seed of Sound, will be released soon and mixes Story’s dynamic atmospherics with his intuitive beats and a native percussion section to churn out indigenous rave-ups. With standout tracks like “Pyramid Funk,” the music of DJ Story appeals to Psychill, Trance, Dubstep, Drum n Bass, and Electro House fans alike.
