DJ Story is working on a new album release compiling all his best original works from the last year (House/Dubstep/Glitch), and he is looking for the right cover in alignment with his vision.  That’s why he’s decided to host a visionary art contest from now until July 1st, 2012.  The selected artist’s work will be featured on any digital/physical releases on Intuitive Beats, DJ Story Music, Bandcamp, Facebook, ReverbNation, Soundcloud, iTunes, Amazon, iLike, Napster etc.

• Credit and links to the artist will be added wherever possible
• Social media shout-out on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc.
• The artist will receive a free copy of the album once completed (digital/physical)
• DJ Story is also offering the winner $50 out of pocket (This is a no budget project, and DJ Story is working to raise enough money to print physical CDs. Donations are always appreciated.)

The top submissions not chosen as the cover will be featured in a gallery on DJ Story’s website with links to the artists.

How to route your sounds and devices from Propellerhead Reason to Ableton Live using the built-in rewire feature. There are 2 methods covered in this video for bringing sound from Reason into Live. The technique you use is up to you and your music production style. Each of the rewire processes have value in different situations. If you were using Reason for a long time before getting into Ableton Live, the first method will open a lot possibilities for layering and recording vocals or other live instruments on your instrumental beats made with Reason. If you are more adept at the sequencer in Live, then method two is a powerful way to utilize the incredibly vast sound banks and synths from Reason.
