Yesterday was my birthday and I had a pretty mellow day. Mostly because it was a tuesday and I partied real hard on the saturday before. I had a really magical day though. Went out to flat bread in Paia for some fresh pizza...mmm so good.

Prepare yourself for an Egyptian theme dance party/potluck. This gathering at Zach and Bree's house will kick-off with an Arabic pot luck beginning on Saturday June 21st at 7:30 in the evening. Danceable house vibrations will be provided by Jaronium, Silverstone, DJ Story and Modika on the Peace Force sound system with the Source DJ altar! Fire dancing welcome near our new fire pit.
Costumes admired (in fact, almost required). Don't feel like rockin the Cleopatra wig? We're defining Egyptian loosely here....Dress as a sacred feline, a pyramid, a genie in a bottle, a goddess, a snake-charmer...whatever. Anything exotic, erotic, and vaguely Middle Eastern will do.

DJ Story made an appearance at DJ Plush's birthday party and played a late night set at about 4:00am. He then went in to chill mode and left the party at about 4:45am to go up to Haleakala for sunrise. It was quite a glorious morning for Story...

We're having a regional Burning Man this year on Maui and it's called Source. DJ Story is also going to being playing a set in the Womb Room on Friday night. I may play a set on Saturday in another area too. See you there...
