After a long time wishing for the latest version I finally upgraded to Ableton Live 8 for my music production, and I love it! There are so many great new features including the looper device, vocoder and frequency shifter. I’ve also started VJ a bit, and you can see my latest video on my homepage. I am starting to get into live electronic music remixing with my own songs. Want to sync video with it too. Pretty soon I’ll be able to trigger loops and sections of my songs, remix/dub them out live and trigger video clips at the same time using my Korg microKONTROL and iPod Touch to send midi. I just need a video projector now, and a huge soundsystem/audience, and I’ll be good to go…

Last night I made this piece of music in the 528Hz frequency which I’ve just discovered to be 1.47 cents tuned up from C5 on the keyboard. This frequency is known as the Miracle or Love frequency and has been used for healing cells. There is a big movement happening around this frequency now.
